The moon
The Zenú or Sinú is a nearly lost tribe, descended from a great civilization – the pre-Columbian civilization in Colombia. They were one of the most powerful and well-organized tribes in the Ancient Americas. Zenú goldsmiths produced numerous pieces of incredible symbolic statues and ornaments. This piece, made in the form of a half-moon, is a feminine symbol, associating with women empowerment. The moon also symbolizes change – it’s the middle ground between light and dark, conscious and unconscious – the choice is up to you.
