Theodora necklace is a luxurious piece available in two variations: the gold-toned version features Tanzanian zoisite, while the silver-toned version is adorned with Brazilian aquamarine. Each necklace is composed of over 84 individual elements and 7 stones, with the assembly process taking up to a week. The necklaces are limited edition — only 10 pieces in gold and 15 in silver. Each one carries a unique serial number, engraved directly onto the piece.
Empress Theodora
Empress Theodora was one of the most powerful women in the history of Byzantium. Her name, derived from Greek, means “Gift of God.” As the wife of Emperor Justinian I, she was a woman of strong will and sharp intellect, actively participating in the governance of the empire and holding significant political influence. It was often Theodora’s resolve that guided the hesitant Justinian — her courage famously helped suppress a major rebellion. As empress, she advocated for women’s rights through legislation, protected the poor, and remained deeply devoted to her faith.
