Ridges of Mount Kazbegi
The Ossetians are an Iranian ethnic group, inhabiting Ossetia – a region in Caucasus Mountains. They are the descendants of an ancient people, the Alans, who occupied this territory as early as the 5th century AD. This jewelry piece was inspired by traditional costume of Ossetian women. It’s a modest but elaborate long dress with a flowing skirt and sleeves. But the most inspiring part is the chest. The chest is decorated with numerous pairs of clasps with various patterns and notches. Absolutely stunning, noble, majestic and superb. Just like our Ossetian inspired pieces.
